MEET THE CEO

Hi my name is Shiquone Moore, but everyone calls me Quanna. I am the CEO of AnoraMakeup&BeautyStudio. 2014 is the year my true hair journey began, graduating with my cosmetology license from John Amico Hair School in Oak Forest. Throughout my life, many experiences has lead me to believe hair will be my passion. When I was younger, I always did my baby dolls hair. At times when my mom couldn't do my hair. I would lay my baby hairs on my forehead and go to school lol. In middle school, I started braiding and practicing on myself and my friend's hair. Shortly after, I was completely intrigued with hair, so I started to research different styles and tools for hair design. My research had me even more fascinated, and that is when I knew I would be a part of the beauty industry. After graduating hair school, I worked in hair salons and beauty supply stores. This is what helped me gain more hands on experience with hair products and how to use them, along with the basics I learned in hair school. To broaden my horizon, I would often watch YouTube videos on hair and makeup.  Makeup became my additional obsession. Eventually, I excelled and grew my business by adding Mink Lashes, Hair Products and Top Quality Brazilian Hair Extensions along with Hair and Makeup services. This experience has been a journey, but I love making people feel beautiful and seeing them happy. It means a lot to me when they feel like a new person after sitting in my chair. One thing I can tell all women in the beauty industry is to stay focused, be determined and just do it. Most importantly, putting your mind into it and keeping God first while letting your hands do the work is all you need to succeed.
